Our story

We said yes.

The power of that tiny word can alter eternity.

Throughout the Bible, we have titans of faith that moved the ancient story of our coming Savior forward. Noah. Abraham. Moses. Rahab. Joshua. Ruth. Deborah. Samuel. David. Nehemiah. Esther. And all the Prophets.

Against all odds, they said yes as they tossed off comfort and obeyed the invitation of the Lord.

Then as the coming of our Savior dawned, the legends of our faith continued. Mary and Joseph. John the Baptist. Peter, James, John. The rest of the twelve. Mary Magdalene. The Samaritan woman at the well. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. The Apostle Paul.

They were imperfect people who embraced faith in the perfect One who said the ultimate yes.

“Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:5-11).

Their story is our story…and can be your story, too.

Firehouse Revival is a community of people who have all said yes to the invitation to know Jesus, to be known by Him, and to make Him known throughout the earth.

For us (Jay and Molly), God asked for our “yes” to launch Firehouse Revival during a season in our lives that seemed most unlikely for us. In fact, for several years prior, even though many authentic prophetic voices had spoken a pastoral and apostolic call over our lives, we could not see how possibly that path would “fit.” But none of those heroes and heroines listed above asked for the luxury of how their call would “fit,” how it would make sense to those around them, or even how things would work out. They simply had faith and believed. And so, here we take our place in the eternally long line of those who have gone before us and (finally) give our resounding YES. We trust He will take care of the rest.

We hope you will join us as we follow the Holy Spirit’s leading with the journey of Firehouse Revival. Our gatherings are centered around connecting to the heart of the Father, encountering the fire of the Holy Spirit, and learning how to walk closely in step with Jesus. Our outreaches exist to spread the unconditional love of God to all the people we serve.

We invite you to come alongside us and accept the invitation to know Jesus and be known by Him.

Say yes.

And trust God to do the rest.
